Vaping
So today begins my experience with “vaping”, or using an electronic cigarette. So far it’s a little under par, but that could be me just not being used to the experience. Using the device is simple, you just fill the cartridges with the liquid solution, slide it onto the end of the atomizer, screw on the battery, and smoke.
It’s a little harder to smoke than a normal cigarette, to me, but the smoke is a lot smoother and doesn’t burn like regular smoke does (mostly because it’s not actually smoke, but more like water vapor, hence “vaping”). The device looks like a cigarette (albeit larger), and even has an LED on the end of the battery that lights up when you’re inhaling through the device. The major benefit of this is that since there is no burning tobacco, there is no carcinogens and chemicals to harm your lungs.
The cartridges are supposed to last for roughly 12-15 cigarettes worth of smoking, but so far I’ve only gotten about 5 at maximum, though this might also be attributed to getting used to how much to fill them. The instructions that came with the fluid said 4-5 drops in the cartridge should do it, but I’ve been finding that I’ve needed to put in upwards of 7 to get a decent experience out of them.
I’m sure that as I keep using the device, I’ll get more used to it and get more comfortable with where I need to be with adding fluid and such.
If anyone else wants to check out a starter kit, don’t hesitate to check out where I picked up mine at http://www.ecigaretteschoice.com
I picked up the SS Choice No.7 Micro Starter Kit Bundle 1, it comes with 1 atomizer, 2 batteries that are supposed to last for 275 puffs, 5 cartridges that contain a “regular tobacco” flavored solution, 10 blank cartridges, a 30Ml bottle of fluid to fill the blanks (I got Menthol flavor) that is supposed to last for 60 refills, plus the charger and power cord.
I’ll likely post more on this as I keep using the device and get more used to it. I’m hoping to completely replace real cigarettes with it.
Keep your eyes open. We’re watching you.
